Relay For Life! May 4th, 2019
During my Freshman year, the entire Leadership class participated in an event called "Relay for Life" We raised money and supported people who are survivors of cancer or affected by cancer and other diseases. It was amazing to see everyone bond and become a family that Leadership strongly embodies. This experience made me understand and start my journey to opening up, and allowed me to take a deeper dive in how to bring my community together. Overall, this opportunity was amazing and am so glad I got to partake in it.

Special Ed Luau! April 12th, 2019
During my Freshman year, our class got the experience of throwing a dance together on campus with many other schools. These schools would bring their students in the Special Ed classes, where we catered pizza, danced and listened to all sorts of music. Being that it was my first year in the class, I learned a lot and was able to connect with the individuals there. I wouldn't change that opportunity for the world, because it reminded me why I want to help my school, and so many people throughout my community.
Bridge Program 2021(two week period)
Over this summer I got to participate in the Bridge Program where I help assisted a group of freshman who are either at risk or need more guidance. This taught me so much and showed me that even a little bit of encouragement to those students can severely guide them throughout their years. The Bridge program was over a two week period and each day I got to school at 7:30--1pm. We did a majority of games and activities and overall this is an experience I will never forget, and I am so grateful I got to do it alongside two of my closest friends.
